This year I have joined a new training program at my home mountain, Mount Snow. It is a new program this year specifically designed to prepare, and qualify athletes to compete at USASA Nationals in Colorado. It is headed by the X-Games silver medalist Jason Evans. It is a select group of dedicated riders, who qualified for nationals in the previous year. Most of the training will be done at Carinthia, which is the largest assembly of parks on the east coast. It is also the home of the Dew Tour Finals, and the U.S. Snowboarding Association Revolution Tour. I am very excited for this upcoming season, and can't wait to start. Lately, the weather hasn't been cooperating too well, but after 12 inches of snow yesterday, I will be able to start riding, and training for the upcoming season.
